Jayne Alice Magruder Beaty, 78, of Bowling Green, passed away Friday, March 9, 2018 at her residence.

The Bowling Green native was a daughter of the late Joseph Ansel Magruder and Ruth Jane McMullen Magruder and wife of the late James Ralph Beaty.

Mrs. Beaty was the owner of Magruder Tile Company in partnership with her husband and son. She was a graduate of Bowling Green Business University and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Survivors include one son, Mike Beaty of Bowling Green; one daughter, Patti McCormack of Bowling Green; one brother, Joseph Magruder of Martinsville, VA; two grandsons, Benjamin Reid McCormack of Bowling Green and Robert Chance McCormack of Germany; one great granddaughter, Janie Marie McCormack.

The Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00 PM on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial to follow in St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to service time on Thursday at the church. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the BG/WC Humane Society.
