Janice Lowe Bewley, 72, of Bowling Green, passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at The Medical Center in Bowling Green. The Bowling Green native was the daughter of the late Herschel G. Lowe and Mary Edith Wheet Lowe. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her aunt, Lucyrene Wheet Price; nephew, Bart McKinney; great niece, Kaitlin Jo McKinney; and brother-in-law, Billy Joe Mitchell.

She retired after many years from South Central Bell and was a member of Fairview Memorial Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Gary A. Bewley; sister, Judy Lowe Mitchell (Bill Snyder); nephew, Brandon McKinney (Phenicia); great niece, Keiera McKinney; and stepson, Garth Lewis Bewley.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 24, 2025 at Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
