Jane Louise Stone, 97, of Bowling Green, went home to her Savior on November 14, 2018, surrounded by her family. Born January 23, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Abbie Nathaniel and Violet Johnson Larson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jack Stone, siblings, Abbie Larson and Sally Vik, and her grandson, Jeff Kennedy.

Jane is survived by her beloved dog, Kaydee who was by her side until the end. She is also survived by her children, Sally Menzel (Ron), Dr. Jack Stone (Julie) and Kristie Kennedy (Hutch). God granted her eight grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. They all express their gratitude to the dedicated and loving caregivers who attended Jane.

Her career was her husband, family and serving her Lord. She achieved Golden Eaglet in Girl Scouts and was a member of St. James United Methodist Church. Jane praised the Lord in choir in many congregations and was a Stephen Minister, visiting the sick and the dying. She was known for her many hats as she was seldom seen without one. To God be the glory, great things He has done in her life.

Join us in celebrating Jane's life with visitation on Monday, November 19, from 4:00 pm-8:00 pm and Funeral Service on Tuesday November 20, at 11:00 am. Both services will be at St. James United Methodist Church, 575 Winfield Dr., Bowling Green, KY 42103. A private interment will be observed by the family. Memorial contributions may be made to St. James United Methodist Church. Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps have been entrusted with the arrangements.
