Jane Rhea Herndon Guier, 81, of Bowling Green, passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at Bridgepointe at Village Manor.  The Trigg County native was a daughter of the late Thomas Henry and Mary Edmonds Herndon.  Mrs. Guier was married on August 7, 1954 to her late husband Leslie Guier.  She was also preceded in death by her son, Forrest Thomas; and four brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Guier worked as an office manager for Western Kentucky Gas Co.  She was a member of Rich Pond Baptist Church and a long-time member of The Eastern Star.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 23 at Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home with burial to follow at Bowling Green Gardens.  Visitation will be on Friday, March 22 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm with an Eastern Star Service at 7:00 pm.  Additional visitation will be on Saturday, March 23 from 12:00 to 2:00 pm at the funeral home.

She is survived by four sons, Lester Bennett Guier (Kathy), David Arthur Guier, Keith Smith, and Kevin Briar Guier; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
