James H. "Jim" Wimpee, 64 of Bowling Green, died July 13, 2017 at the Medical Center. The Warren County native was born June 12, 1953, a son of the late James O. Wimpee and Erma Gettings Wimpee.

He was a district manager with Hostess-Dolly Madison in Elizabethtown and Bowling Green and was a member of Rocky Springs Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Vicki Horton Wimpee; a daughter, Cheral Wimpee of Hodgenville; a son, Jason Wimpee, (Holly) of Round Rock, TX; a grandchild, McKenna Wimpee; a sister, Sandra Wimpee; and a nephew, Christopher Feridonfar.

Graveside services will be at 1:30 pm, Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Old Liberty Cemetery in Warren County. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to The American Lung Association of Kentucky.
