Helen Jernigan, 83, of Alvaton passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at Hospice of Southern Kentucky. The Springfield, TN native was the daughter of the late Woodrow and the late Lillian Frey. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Jernigan, and her son-in-law, Richard Resch.

She was a member of Scottsville Road Baptist Church and had retired as a Director of Preschool.

Mrs. Jernigan is survived by a daughter, Annis Resch; two brothers, Bobby Frey and Steve Frey; two sisters, Trisha Lewis and Jean Graves; one grandchild, Dustin Resch (Stephanie); one great-granddaughter, Zoey Isabella Resch; and several nieces and nephews.

No services have been scheduled. Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home has been entrusted with her arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be sent in Mrs. Jernigan's memory to Hospice of Southern Kentucky.
