Helen Kathryn Bryson, 91, of Bowling Green passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at her residence. The Logan County native was a daughter of the late Albert "Abe" Crawford and Zora Bilbrey Crawford. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Doyle "Ed" Bryson; and her sister, Lillian Lowe.

Mrs. Bryson enjoyed quilting, loved being outdoors, and spending time surrounded by family and friends. Helen and Ed enjoyed traveling and have been across all 48 states in the continental U.S. during their time together.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 8 at Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 8 at the funeral home.  There will be a private burial at Fairview Cemetery.

She is survived by a daughter, Retha Spinks (James); a son, Rick Bryson (Rachel); a brother, Harold "Sonny" Crawford (Sylvia); three grandchildren, Jamie Spinks Meredith (Michael), Jarad Spinks (Shelby); Anna Bryson (Zach); and two great-grandchildren, Emorie James Meredith and Darby Lee Meredith. The family would also like to offer a special thank you to her caregivers, Ruth, Karen, Janet, Tina, Staley, Jeannie, Jo Anna and Cheryl.
