Hazel E. Nafus, 88 of Bowling Green died Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at Greenview Regional Hospital.

The Wheeling, West Virginia native was a daughter of the late William and Geneva Murray Brosche and was also preceded in death by her husband, Marvin J. Nafus; five sisters and four brothers.

Mrs. Nafus was a Customer Service Associate with Minit Mart, was a member of the Honor Society in high school and was a Baptist.

Survivors include two daughters, Candice Johnson and her husband, David and Judy Nafus; two grandchildren, Chris Johnson and his wife, Barbie and Lorrie French and her husband, Robert; five great grandchildren, Lucas Johnson, Emma Johnson, Heaven Johnson, Ethan Johnson and Caroline French; one sister, Wilma Fitzgerald; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 pm Thursday, August 22, 2019 at Fairview Cemetery. Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
