Harvey Duane Hurt, 81, of Bowling Green, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at his residence.  The Metcalfe County native was a son of the late Russell and Mae Pauline Hurt Tabor.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by seven siblings.

Mr. Hurt was a member of Land Mark Baptist Church and worked in maintenance for Van Meter Insurance Group.

Private graveside services will be held at Land Mark Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Hurt is survived by his loving wife, Rita Miller Hurt; three sons, Michael Hurt (Tammy), Kevin Hurt (Nishira), and Joe Ray Hurt; a sister, Janice; ten grandchildren, Brittany (Bastion), Kendra (Haley), Summer (J.T.), Olivia, Jacob, Christian, Cody, Chloie, Caleb, and Taytum; and a step-daughter, Jamie Basham.

Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home.
