Glenn Kinkade, 73 of Cave City, passed away Saturday, December 8, 2018 at The Medical Center. He was a son of the late James Paul and Ruby Etta Estes Kinkade. Mr. Kinkade was a 1967 graduate of Western Kentucky University holding a bachelor's degree in accounting. He was a retired accountant with ACK Controls and was a member and Deacon of Southside Baptist Church. He had 26 years of service and leadership in Gideons International and had 50 plus years of Bible teaching in his member churches. He was a missionary to Africa and several U.S. missions. Survivors include his wife, Martha Ann Cox Kinkade; three daughters, Karie Kinkade Lester, Kori Dimity Thurman and Kelli Deanne Cauley; one brother, Wilber "Buck" Kinkade (Carol); one sister, Carol Walden (Jimmy); seven grandchildren, Madelyn, Zachary, and Karagyn Lester, Hayley, Garrett, and Alexandria Thurman and Benjamin Cauley; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 am, Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home with burial in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday, December 14, 2018 and again on Saturday from 9:00 am until service time at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Gideons International.
