Obituary

Glenn C. Howard, 77, of Bowling Green, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 14th. The Bowling Green, KY, native was the son of the late Harrison Netter Howard and Juanita Julia Humphries Howard.

Mr. Howard was a graduate of Bowling Green High School and Western Kentucky University. He honorably served in the United States Air Force. He owned and operated the Morgantown Road Ace Hardware for twenty years and later sold real estate with James Cook.

He was a member of Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association, Green River Gun Club, Rough Riders, and Ducks Unlimited, where he served as a past president. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and wildlife, but his greatest passions were spending time with family and friends and taking care of his horses and farm.

Glenn is survived by his wife of 52 years, Cathy Higgins Howard; his children, Wesley Blake Howard (Lindsey) and Stacy Howard Jones; and three grandchildren, Andrew Knox Jones, Pepper Joy and Iversen (Ivey) Bale Howard.

At his request, no funeral services will be held. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Bowling Green Warren County Humane Society or to the Tunnel To Towers Foundation.
