Gill Eugene Jessee, 77, of Bowling Green passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at his residence. The Luttrell, TN native was the son of the late Mary Thomas Jessee and Cas Jessee. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Amy Nawy and three sisters, Carolyn Jessee, Louise Hubbs, and Joann Inklebarger.

Mr. Jessee enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, as he took care of everyone around him with a big heart. He loved to fish and garden. He was a member of First Christian Church of Bowling Green, he attended Valley Grove Baptist Church as a child. Gill was an engineer at the the Oakridge, TN Nuclear Plant before he retired.

He is survived by his wife, Floyda McKahan Jessee; two daughters, Angela Stout (Verland) and Alicia Russell (Johnny); a son, Cas Jessee (Beth); eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at First Christian Church. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 4 at the church. Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
