Genevieve Ausbrooks, 93 , of Bowling Green passed away on Monday, November 14 at Skyline Medical Center. The Edmonson County native was the daughter of the late Luster White and Verda Miller White. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Ausbrooks is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Ira Ausbrooks; two brothers, James Avery White and Jack White; one niece, Melissa Mercer.

Genevieve was a member of United Calvary Baptist Church. She worked at Union Underwear for over 45 years.

She is survived by two sisters, June Mercer and Sue Fields (Nyle); one stepdaughter, Anne Lois Slagley; one stepson, Phil Ausbrooks and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 12:00 pm Friday, November 18 at Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Thursday, November 17 at Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.  Additional visitation will be from 10:00 am to service time on Friday with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery.
