Frank T. Wheeler, 88, of Bowling Green went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, December 27, 2018. The Bowling Green native was a son of the late Tim and Irene Howell Wheeler and was preceded in death by his wife, Bettye Reeder Wheeler.

Mr. Wheeler was a 1949 graduate of South Warren High School and attended Bowling Green Business University. He was a self-employed farmer and worked for South Western Tobacco Company and was a supervisor at Dibrell Tobacco Company. He was an Army veteran serving most of his time at Fort Bragg, NC and was part of the 24 ^th Chemical Company. He was a member of Providence Knob Baptist Church.

Survivors include his daughter, Vikki Harris (Brent); two grandchildren, Matt Harris (Lauren) and Tim Harris (Dani); three great grandchildren, Layne, Wheeler and Sam Harris; brother, John Wheeler; special friend, Gail Dycus; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services are scheduled at 1:00 pm Monday, December 31, 2018 at Providence Knob Baptist Church with burial and military honors at Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm Monday at Providence Knob Baptist Church. Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
