Frances M. Cox, 102, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2024. The Warren County native was the daughter of the late Emma Drew Lockhart Woodward and W.G. Woodward. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years, Jesse H. Cox; a son, Ronnie D. Cox; four siblings, Thomas, Katherine, Ida Moss, and Charles.

She was a member of Clear Fork Baptist Church and was a childcare provider in her own home.

She is survived by two daughters, Martha Ann Kinkade and Kathy Lynn Green (Michael); a sister, Mable Pharris; five grandchildren, Karie Lester, Kelli Cauley, Kori Thurman, Kevin Cox, and Brandon Cox; nine great-grandchildren and a daughter-in-law, Twila Cox.

Graveside services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home.
