Eva Kerr Sadler, 88, passed away August 20, 2016 at the Medical Center of Bowling Green. Eva was born in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Demi and Andy Kerr. She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lee Sadler; brothers, Lawrence Kerr, Roy Kerr, Kenneth Kerr; sister, Lucy Young; grandson, Tanner Sadler; and step great grandson, Joseph Swartz.
Eva is survived by sisters, Ruby Johnson and Ruth Bentley both of Louisville, Kentucky; a daughter, Sharyn Bailey and her husband, Larry, of Bowling Green; two sons, David Sadler of Yukon, Oklahoma and Joseph Sadler and his wife, Paula of Bowling Green. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Matthew Koon and his wife, Rebekah of Nashville, Tennessee, Andrew Koon and his wife, Meredith of Louisville, Kentucky, David M. Sadler of Nashville, Tennessee, Amy Sadler-Perkins and her husband, Brian, of Bowling Green, Emily Wilkerson and her husband, Josh of War Acres, Oklahoma, and Jackson Sadler of Yukon, Oklahoma; step-grandchildren, Kelley Kennoy and her husband, Kevin of Huntsville, Alabama, and Kevin Bailey and Jennifer of Knoxville, Tennessee; Her surviving great-grandchildren are Andrew, Mason and Catherine Koon of Louisville, Kentucky, Rachel and Bentley Sadler of Yukon, Oklahoma and Dylan Perkins of Bowling Green; step-great grandchildren, Katherine Swartz and Noah Kennoy of Huntsville, Alabama; and several nieces and nephews.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Bowling Green. Eva once said, "To love as a parent, a friend, and a wife is one of the greatest blessings that God has bestowed on me."
Funeral Service will be at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm, Tuesday at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home.
