Ethel "Dot" Rogers, 91, of Princeton, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, November 16, 2023, at  Riversbend Retirement Community in Kuttawa, Kentucky.

The Fulgham, Kentucky native was a daughter of the late William Ray and Mary Lou Sumner Parrott and was preceded in death by two brothers, Billy Parrott and Johnny Parrott; one sister, Rhoella Tillman; her son-in-law, Bill Lansden; and stepson, Rudy Rogers.

Mrs. Rogers was an office manager for the U.C. Milk Company, in Madisonville, but previously lived in the greater Detroit area for many years working and raising her children. Dot was a loving mother and grandmother; she was known for her sharp wit and kindness. She loved her family unconditionally and prayed earnestly for them. Nothing gave her more pleasure than to spend time with them. She especially enjoyed time with the younger grandchildren and great grandchildren. When they were with her, she would stop whatever she was doing to play with them. Her home was a place that you couldn't wait to get to and never wanted to leave. Mom had a way of making everyone feel special. Her smile and laughter will live in our hearts forever.

Survivors include her children, Rhoella "Rho" Lansden, Peggy Austin (Terry), Ray Rogers (Debbie), Rebecca "Becky" Wallace (Tom), Sandy Smith-Walmsley (Paul) and Amy Sue Carroll (Brian); fourteen grandchildren, Randy Rogers (Tammy), Jason Rogers (Jamie), John Lansden (Diana), Amy Jo Lansden (Josh), Rob Austin (Crystal), Crystin Ogden (Derek), Kimberly Smith (Jay), Samuel Mercer, Mary Jo Salmon (Lance), Paige Ream, Molly Smith (Cody), Jack Carroll (Jessica), Ben Carroll and Emily Carroll; sixteen great grandchildren also survive and one daughter-in-law, Barbara Rogers.

Funeral services for Mrs. Rogers will be at 12:00 PM, Saturday, November 25, 2023, at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM Saturday at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home. A graveside service will be at 11:00 AM, Monday, November 27, 2023, at Fairview Cemetery.
