Elsie Cassady, 94, of Franklin, KY passed away on Saturday October 28th, 2023 at Greenview Medical Center.

Ms. Cassady was born in Monmouth, IL to the late Veachel and Gertrude Keith. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sons, Roger Cassady and Larry Cassady; two grandsons, Christopher Cassady and Daniel Cassady; siblings, Thornton Keith, Jerry Keith, Helm Keith, Arthur Keith, Ruben Keith, Martha Curtis, Thomas Keith, Lorene Taylor, Virginia Alexander, and Katherine Meredith.

Ms. Cassady is a member of Franklin First United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Kelly (Bob); grandchildren, Scott Cassady, Tony Murphy, Christina Willis (Roy), Jennifer Stephens (Jeremy), and Lisa Graham (Brandon); 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Ms. Cassady will be conducted on Thursday, November 2nd, 2023 at 1:00 PM from Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home with interment to follow in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, November 1st, 2023 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM and again on Thursday November 2nd, 2023 from 11:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM.
