Ellen Faye Howard, 75, of Bowing Green passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at The Medical Center. The Metcalfe county native was the daughter of the late Pauline Tabor and Russell Raymond Hurt. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Douglas McArthur Howard, four brothers and three sisters.

She was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, George Howard (Dorothy); three daughters, Debbie Bond, Kim Howard (Jamie), and Tammy Bledsoe (James); one sister, Janice Hurt; one brother Harvey Hurt (Rita); six grandchildren, Timothy, Tyler, David, Matthew, Josh and Dillon; seven great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be Friday, January 18, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home with burial at Plano Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, January 17, 2019 from 4:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m. at Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home. Additional visitation will be Friday, January 18, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until service time at Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home.
