Elizabeth M. Ellis, 99, passed away Saturday, February 19, 2022, at Bridgepoint at Village Manor in Bowling Green, KY. The Edmonson County native was a daughter of the late Hallie Madison and Harry Madison. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Leonard Ellis, of seventy-three years and watched her family grow five generations.

She worked thirty-seven years at Holley.

Elizabeth is survived by her daughter, Joyce Elllis Howell; two grandchildren, Michelle Lee Patrick (Brian) and James Michael Howell (Melissa Carter); Five great-grandchildren, Courtney Hayes (Cori), Madilyn Howell, Allison Howell, Nola Howell, Bennett Howell; one great-great-grandchild, Rhyder Ellis Hayes.

Graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, February 25, 2022, at Fairview Cemetery #2.

In honor of Elizabeth, memorial contributions may be made to The Bowling Green/Warren County Humane society.
