Elizabeth (Law) Creek, age 101, of Greenfield, IN passed away on Friday, March 10, 2017 at Springhurst Health Campus – Greenfield. She was born on January 22, 1916 in Warren County, KY as the daughter of Cecil and Laura (Thornton) Law. She graduated from Woodburn High School in in Warren County, KY in 1934. Elizabeth married Rex Creek on February 9, 1934 in Bowling Green, KY.

She was a homemaker and a farmer's wife. Elizabeth was a member of a Church of Christ in Woodburn, KY and Franklin, KY. She loved sewing and was a very good seamstress.

Elizabeth is survived by her son, Dennis (Barb) Creek of Greenfield; two grand-daughters, Kimberly (Michael) Kieffer of Fishers, IN and Kelly Jo Creek of Westfield, IN; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Laura Law; husband, Rex Creek; and son, Dwight N. Creek.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home, 901 Fairview Ave, Bowling Green, KY 42101. A funeral service will take place immediately following the visitation at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Woodburn Cemetery in Woodburn, KY.
