Edna Leslie Mayer, 89 of Bowling Green, died Tuesday, August 08, 2017 at her home. The Honolulu, Hawaii native was a daughter of the late Robert Cooke and Wilhelmina Kiesel Cooke.

Mrs. Mayer was a member of the Art Association of Fayetteville, AR, Santa Fe, NM, and Lompoc, CA., and many of her art pieces are still displayed across the country. She was a veteran of the Women's Army Corp where she served during the Korean war.

Survivors include her husband, Eugene Mayer of Bowling Green; three daughters, Jean Marie Fogelberg, Leslie Ann Holder, and Andrea Lynn Denney; one brother, Alistair Bennett Cooke; three grandchildren; one great grandchild; special friends Annelise Grace Topmiller and family.

A memorial service honoring Mrs. Mayer will be held by the family. Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
