Ed Hines, 73, of Bowling Green, passed away Wednesday, December 05, 2018 at Sky Rehabilitation Hospital. The Bowling Green native was the son of the late Richard and Henrietta VanMeter Hines. He was preceded in death by four brothers.

Mr. Hines served in the Army and was a retired plant manager for Weyerhaeuser.

He is survived by his wife, Myra Faye Hines; one sister, Sandra Deel; two sons, Alan Wayne Hines Sr., and Mark Warren Hines; two daughters, Lisa Lynn Abbott and Kathryn Marie Hines Peachey of Australia; six grandchildren, Alan Wayne Hines Jr., Cheyenne Renee Hines, Bailey and Brooklyn Peachey of Australia, Dillon and Dakota Rainwaters; three great grandchildren, Mary Ann Smith, Anthony Wayne Hines and Taylor Marie Hines and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be held at the home of Alan and Shawna Hines, 166 Greyrock Drive, Bowling Green, Ky. 42101, on Saturday, December 8, at 12:00 p.m. All close friends and relatives welcome.
