Dr. Charles Thomas “Tom” Nuckols, 89, of Bowling Green, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 4 at home. Tom deeply loved Rene, his wife of 66 years, whose presence could make his blue eyes light up and bring a smile to his face. Tom was also devoted to his oral surgery practice for over 50 years and took great pride in providing the highest quality care to his patients here in Bowling Green and surrounding areas.

Tom had a lifelong passion for golf and spent countless hours on the driving range- always convinced there was time for one more bucket of balls. His grandsons, Ryan and Robert, were fortunate to receive a few professional golf lessons from him. He was an avid reader who also enjoyed biking, running, and working out at the gym. He enjoyed many trips with Rene, traveling throughout the United States and overseas.

Tom was a member at Christ Episcopal church where the memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 26. Visitation will begin at 10 am, with the funeral service to follow at 11:00 am. A private inurnment will follow the service.
