Obituary

Dorothy Cline Mann, 91 of Bowling Green died Monday at her daughter's home. The Warren County native was born September 6, 1926, a daughter of the late Burton and Vallie Pike Cline. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ward C. Mann; two brothers, Jay Cline and Douglas Cline; four sisters, Lois Sadler, Margaret Lovelace, Jo Ann Harwood and Louise Cline.

She was a graduate of College High and attended Bowling Green Business University. She was a graduate of Western Kentucky University, where she received her B.S., M.A. and Rank 1. Mrs. Mann taught at Rich Pond and T.C. Cherry and retired from the Sarasota County, FL School System where she taught in the Head Start program and was a Counselor with the Adult Basic Education. Mrs. Mann was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Donna Foster and Beverly Oliver; one sister, Mary Steinkoff; three grandchildren, Jeff Watt, Kim Buckman and Russ Oliver; and five great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Fairview Cemetery. Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps is in charge of the arrangements. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the BG/WC Humane Society.
