Doris Jean Hardcastle of Bowling Green died at 2:00 p.m., June 26, 2018 at Magnolia Village. She was a Warren County native and a member of Greenwood Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Alvaton High School and Bowling Green Business College. She was employed at Western Kentucky University for over forty years and retired as a Senior Catalog Assistant at The Cravens Graduate Center.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents John Forrest Hardcastle and Hallie Howell Hardcastle; two brothers, Mitchell Hardcastle (Dorothy), Kenneth Hardcastle (Louise); one sister, Lottice Hunt (Junior).

Survivors include, two brothers, Maxey Hardcastle (Renetta), Amel Hardcastle (Teresa); one sister, Edith Riley (Wayne); four nephews and seven nieces, Deloris Gaddie, David and Glendel Hardcastle, Evelyn Vaughn, Joyce Smith, Ralph Hunt, Linda Wright, Lori Dubree, Sam Hardcastle, Amelia Jones and Melodye Campbell; several great, great-great, and great-great-great nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be Friday, June 29, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, June 28, 2018 from for 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Friday, from 9:00 a.m. until service time at Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home.
