Donna Breakfield, 62, of Bowling Green passed away Friday, January 19, 2024 at The Medical Center in Bowling Green.

The Bowling Green native was a daughter of the late Hurdle "Buck" Johnson and Lula Ree Cornwell Johnson.

Mrs. Breakfield was the secretary of Breakfield Roofing Co. and a member of Grace Free Will Baptist Church.

Survivors include the love of her life, her husband Wayne Breakfield of nearly 44 years; two daughters, April Michelle Breakfield (James Ross) and Amanda Breakfield (Jed Cossel); and one son, Adam Wayne Breakfield (Antaya); and her most valued role of Ma to five grandchildren, Jaxson and Haisley Breakfield, Sandy Breakfield Ross, and Kyrah and Laife Cossel; two sisters and one brother.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Friday January 26, 2024 at Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home with burial in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday January 25, 2024 and again from 11:30 to 1:00 p.m., Friday, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Breakfield was a giver to all, truly selfless, kind, and a deeply loyal woman. Donna took pride in her home. She enjoyed gardening, mowing and decorating her yard, especially during holidays with impressive displays of Christmas and Halloween lights, bringing joy to those in her community. Mrs. Donna also took great pride in their houseboat on Lake Cumberland, spending long weekends with her husband enjoying nature on their back porch.

Mrs. Breakfield believed in St. Jude Children's Research Organization and often donated to help sick children and their families. The family has requested that donations be made in memory of her as an alternative to flowers if desired.
