Delsie M. Douglas, 87, of Bowling Green passed away Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Hospice of Southern Kentucky.

The Edmonton, KY native was born March 29, 1930, to the late Jessie Frank and Annie May Gibson Propes. She is preceded in death by her husband, Maxie Gene Douglas and two sisters, Dottie McCown and Lucy Smith.

Mrs. Douglas was employed by Western Kentucky University as a waitress and Head Cashier and was of the Baptist Faith. She loved angels and butterflies, dancing, fishing and talking on the phone.

She is survived by her son, Donald Preston Miller; her daughter, Sherrie Miller Contreras (Fred); daughter-in-law, SeGail Miller; sister, Elsie Jordan; 18 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 11:00 am, Tuesday at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home with burial in Green River Union Cemetery in Richardsville, KY. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Monday at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home and again from 10:00 am until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home.
