Debbie Head, 70, of Bowling Green passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at her residence.

The Bowling Green native was a daughter of the late James Hays and Dorothy (Thomas) Hays.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Head; a brother, Larry  Hays; mother and father-in-law, Hayden and Bobbie Head; and nephew, Jason Head.

Mrs. Head was a graduate of Warren East High School and retired from the Kentucky State Court System as a court clerk. She was a member of Eastwood Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Angela Head Murray; son-in-law, Colby Murray; a brother, James S. Hays; one grandchild, Sloane Murray; five nephews, Kevin Hays, D.J. Head, Scott Head, Matthew Strehl and Brandon Castlen; five nieces, LaDonna Harp, Tara (Hays) Kottke, Nicole (Strehl) Stoll, Rachel (Strehl) Metzger and Breanna (Castlen) Dant and six in-laws, Donnie and Janet Head, Pat and Marnita Strehl, Sherrill and Julie Castlen also survive.

Visitation is scheduled from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, Saturday, September 30, 2023 at Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home. Memorial Services will be at 12:00 pm, Saturday at Johnson Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home.
