David W. McKillip, 68, of Bowling Green, passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at Hospice House. Born in Berwyn, Illinois, he grew up in Athens, Georgia and was the eldest son of the late William D. McKillip and Carol S. McKillip, who survives.

Mr. McKillip was a member of Christ Episcopal Church. He received his MBA from the University of Chicago and was the Vice President of Finance and Corporate Controller for Camping World. David was an accomplished musician and sang with the Southern Kentucky Choral Society, Orchestra Kentucky, and the choir at Christ Episcopal Church. David and his family loved to travel and experience the great outdoors. He especially loved exploring our great national parks through rappelling, white water rafting, hiking, biking, and kayaking.

A memorial service will be held at Christ Episcopal Church on Saturday, April 11 at 1:00 p.m. Additional visitation on Friday, April 10 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the church.

In addition to his mother, David is survived by his wife, Peggy McKillip; two sons, Daniel R. McKillip (Elizabeth) and Graham L. McKillip; two sisters, Tori M. Christian (Charles) and Jennifer M. Little (David); two brothers, Daniel M. McKillip (Patti McKellar) and Doug C. McKillip (Mary); one grandchild; three cousins; eleven nieces and nephews; and nine great-nieces and nephews.
