David Harold Hackenbracht, 76, of Bowling Green, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, July 14, 2026. The Pittsburgh, PA native was the son of the late Harold and Agnes Hackenbracht. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Eric Hackenbracht.

David was retired from the United States Postal Service where he worked as an electronic technician.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, July 17 at Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home with entombment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Friday, July 17 at the funeral home.

He is survived by his wife, Lillian Hackenbracht; special friends, Rhea Jones, Hal Jones, Dourna Taylor; and several close neighbors.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the BGWC Humane Society.
