Daniel Robert Krygiel, 80, of Bowling Green, died on Friday, March 24, 2017 at The Medical Center. The St. Louis, MO native was born on August 14, 1936 to the late Frank and Victoria Krygiel.
He was a man who worked hard to provide for his family. He loved to spend time with family and friends, fish, and watch sports. He had worked for General Motors Corp, and was a veteran of the United States Army.
Mr. Krygiel is survived by his wife, Nancy Sue Kraus Krygiel of Bowling Green; two children, Matthew Robert Krygiel of Lexington and Catherine Lynn Krygiel Sledge (Darren Lee) of Bowling Green; and four grandchildren, Matthew Landon Peay Sledge of Bowling Green, Zachary Durham Krygiel of Lexington, Luke Alexander Krygiel of Lexington, and Emrie Lynn Sledge of Bowling Green.
A funeral mass is scheduled for Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at 12 noon at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 10 AM to 12 noon at the church. Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
