Craig A. Patterson, 57, of Bowling Green, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at his residence. The Bowling Green native was the son of the late Virginia Knight Patterson and Charles Patterson. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Helen Knight.

Mr. Patterson was a graduate of Western Kentucky University with a degree in community health and worked as an environmentalist for the Barren River District Health Department. He was a member of Faith Methodist Church and enjoyed going to Hot Rods games, writing, and telling jokes.

He is survived by his wife, Cecelia Ballard Patterson; son, David Fiscus (Melissa); two brothers, Christopher Patterson (Dana) and Corey Patterson (Chasity); five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home on Saturday.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of memorial contributions to Faith Methodist Church.
