Claudia Fuess, 70, formerly of Berkeley Heights, NJ passed away Thursday, January 11, 2018 at her residence.

The Berkeley, NJ native was a daughter of the late Paul Thomas Haury and Annetta Christensen Haury. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband James Henry Fuess.
Mrs. Fuess was a graduate from Bucknell University. She retired from the law firm of Day Pitney LLP in Parsippany, NJ as a fiduciary accountant. She had a lifelong career dedicated to her clients in trust and estate law.She is a beloved sister and aunt as well as an avid gardener and bird watcher.

She is survived by her brother, John Douglas Haury of Nashville, TN; two sisters, Andrea Lynne Haury of Knoxville, TN and Laura Anne Haury of Bowling Green, KY; six nephews, Paul Sewell, John Sewell, J. Niles Haury, Addison Haury, Duncan Miller, and Ethan Miller; one niece, Annie Williamson and her husband Mark; one great niece, Adaline Williamson.

A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
