Christine Ingram, 79 of Bowling Green, passed away peacefully, with family members present, on Monday, January 29, 2018 at HCA Greenview Hospital.
The Springhill, Tennessee native was a daughter of the late Edgar and Margaret Walker Hayes and was preceded in death by her sisters, Charlene Vermillion, Sandra Peach, Ellen Vaughn, and brothers Sonny Hayes, Jessie Hayes and Jimmy Hayes, and a beloved son, John Ingram, Jr.
Mrs. Ingram was a homemaker and member of Indian Hills Country Club and attended Hillvue Heights Church. Christine was an avid WKU fan and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed her time houseboating on Barren River lake with friends and family.
Survivors include her husband, John Ingram; one daughter, Deborah Lynn Fields (David); daughter-in-law, Cynthia Ingram; one sister, Mary Ann Ward; three grandchildren, Kristen Hollmeyer (Adam), John Curtis Ingram, III (Andrea) and Shelby Papp (Alex); two great grandchildren, Jaxon Ingram and Anniston Ingram; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 2, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Thursday, February 1, 2018 and from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm Friday at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to The American Cancer Society.
