Charles "Charley" Myers, 71 of Bowling Green, passed away Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Magnolia Village.
The Jefferson City, Tennessee native was a son of the late Richard Crouse Myers and Florence Green Myers. He was Postmaster at Glasgow, Kentucky. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, the University of Tennessee and University of Louisville football and basketball with his wife. Mr. Myers also enjoyed and loved the companionship of his grandchildren, Maddy, Baylee, Logan and Patrick.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Meredith Myers; one daughter, Stacye Johnson (Brad); one son, Charles E. Myers, Jr.; two granddaughters, Madison Wingo and Baylee Johnson and a great grandson, Maddox Wingo; two step-daughters, Alicia Jenkins and Laura Chapman; one step-son, Donald "Dee" Jenkins; two step-grandsons, Logan Graham and Patrick Jenkins; one sister, Lois Collins; one niece, Leslie Collins and one nephew, Larry Collins; and a special cousin, Janie and special friend Don Ingram.
Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 pm Monday, June 26, 2017 at Fairview Cemetery. Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
