Charles Lee Bailey, 49, of Bowling Green, KY passed away Monday, April 9, 2018 at his residence. The Danville, KY native was the son of Ferrell Bailey (Jeanie) of Danville, Ky and Eleanor Nowicki Bailey of Stanford, Ky who survive.

Mr. Bailey graduated EKU with degrees in Medical Technology and Cytotechnology. He was a U.S. Army veteran, served in Desert Storm and was a member of the VFW. He also loved music and playing his guitar.

He is survived by his wife, Amy Mudgett-Bailey of Bowling Green; one sister, Angela Kik (Ken); mother in law, Brenda Harrod; father in law, Jon Mudgett (Wendy); three sisters-in-law, Martha Tims (Travis), Christina Wheeler and Jessica Landeros; two brothers-in-law, Jonathan and Jason Mudgett; four nieces and five nephews; several aunts and uncles.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home with visitation from 12:00 p.m. until time of service Thursday, April 12, 2018.

Graveside service for Mr. Bailey will be at Camp Nelson National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. (EDT) on Thursday 19, 2018.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the BG/WC Humane Society.
