Carolyn Ann Britt, 72, of Oakland, KY passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness, with her family at her side on Sunday, March 24, 2024 at The Medical Center in Bowling Green.
The Warren County native was a daughter of the late Kenneth and Geneva Elrod Watts.  She was a sales associate with J.C. Penny and worked at Holley Carburetor and was a member of Martinsville Baptist Church. Carolyn was a great cook and enjoyed embroidering and growing beautiful flowers. She loved all of these hobbies, but her most precious thing was her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Terry Britt; one daughter, Kimberly Britt; one son, Eric Britt (Kate); two grandchildren, Braxon Britt and Brixlei Britt; two sisters, Linda Watts and Lisa Watts; two brothers, Tony Watts (Cindy) and Jim Watts (Gale); several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm, Friday, March 29, 2024 at Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Martinsville Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home and again from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Martinsville Baptist Church Cemetery Fund or The Downs Syndrome of Southern Kentucky (formerly The Buddy House)
