Carol Ann Dales (née Rule), age 78, passed away peacefully on June 22, 2025, in Louisville, Kentucky, surrounded by her loving daughters and family.

Born on November 4, 1946, in South Beloit, Wisconsin, Carol lived a life full of grace, quiet strength, and unwavering love for those she held dear. She was a devoted wife, mother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend whose gentle spirit and selflessness left a lasting mark on everyone blessed to know her.

Carol will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband and soulmate of 53 years, Roger Alan Dales, at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

She is survived by her three devoted daughters: Michelle Crowe (Duane), Melannie Ladd, and Mary-Agnes Hayden (Daniel). She also leaves behind her most treasured grandchildren: Dylan Crowe, Brett Crowe, Elizabeth Roberts (Bradley), Joseph McElroy, Madison Crowe, Hannah Hayden, and Noah Hayden, as well as her cherished great-granddaughter, Claire Roberts. She is also survived by her goddaughter, Merre Lynn Woznicki (Rule).

Carol was preceded in death by her loving husband, Roger; her parents, Wilfred Henry Albert Rule I and Agnes Rule (née Salvato); her brother, Wilfred Henry Albert Rule II, her nephew, Wilfred Henry Albert Rule III, and her son-in-law, Robert Ladd.

A celebration of Carol's life will be held on Tuesday, July 1 at Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home beginning at 2:00 p.m. (CST) with entombment to follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1 from 12:30 p.m. (CST) until 2:00 p.m. at Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home (901 Fairview Ave, Bowling Green, KY), where all who loved her are welcome to gather, share memories, and honor the beautiful legacy she leaves behind.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in loving memory of Carol Ann Dales.
