Buddy Wayne Bonds, 75, of Bowling Green died on Sunday, November 5, 2017 at Hospice House. The Warren County native was born on December 15, 1941 to the late Arlie Ray and Bessie Mae Deweese Bonds. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby Ray and Jessie Wendell Bonds.

Mr. Bonds retired from the Bowling Green Fire Department. After 30 years of service he achieved the rank of Sargent. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Bonita "Carolyn" Bonds; three daughters, Susan Kimberlyn Cloyd, Christina Wayne Bonds, and Michelle Leigh Stewart (David); a brother, Bill M. Bonds (Margie); a sister, Judy Darlene Hampton (Mike); three grandchildren, Shelly Boyd, Madison C. Stewart, and David A. Stewart, III; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A family memorial will be held at a later date. Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
