Brenda K. “Nana” Law Taylor, 77, of Columbia, Tennessee passed away Monday, June 15, 2026 at the Williamson Medical Center in Franklin, Tennessee. The Bowling Green native was a daughter of the late Robert H. Law, Jr. and is preceded in death by a daughter, Melisa Dockery and two sisters, Joyce Alford (Jerry) and Barbara Martin.

Brenda was a retired employee of General Motors and was of the Baptist faith. She loved her family deeply and also loved gardening and flowers.

Funeral Service is scheduled for 2:00 pm, Friday, June 19, 2026 at Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home with burial in the Barren River Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm, Friday, at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Shriner’s Hospital, 2900 N. Survivors include her husband, Paul Alan Taylor; one daughter, Cheryl House (Kenneth), three grandchildren, Robbie Dockery (Brittany), Corey Dockery (Kayla), and Brenden Stinnett (Jason); six great grandchildren, Rylan Dockery, Lakin Dockery, Isabella Dockery, Parker Dockery, Brayden Mills and Maci Mills.
