Brenda Gayle
Mckinney
Nov 25, 1939 — Nov 26, 2025
After a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer's, Brenda Gayle McKinney (Bea) was called home to rest by her heavenly father on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at Cardinal Landing Memory Care in Bowling Green.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Claude W. and Mabel Duncan; husband, Charles McKinney; grandparents, Charles and Lillie Mae Duncan and her sister, Wanda G. Dowell.
Mrs. McKinney was born in Drake, KY on November 25, 1939 and graduated from Warren County High School. She married Don Webb and began raising their family and during that time she started her career at Union Underwear in Bowling Green until she retired. After retirement, Brenda enjoyed working with her husband Charles McKinney on their farm. She enjoyed her time being an active member at Mt. Olivet Cumberland Presbyterian Church, taking walks, cooking for her family and shopping with her sister and daughter.
Left to mourn her passing, but also to celebrate her 86 years are her son, Kevin L. Webb (Stacy) and grandson, Samuel T. Webb all of Louisville; daughter, Kimberly R. Fulcher (Rob) of Bowling Green; sister, Cyleta Boyle of Orange Park, FL; one niece and several nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 2 at Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home with a private burial at Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 on Tuesday at the funeral home.
The family would like to thank two of her dearest friends, Linda and Anna, for their help watching and helping Brenda as needed while she was still living at home.
Our many thanks to the Staffs of Charter Senior Living and Cardinal Landing Memory Care while she resided at both during the past several years and a special thanks to Cheryl of Hosparus Health of Barren River and Cornerstone Caretenders for their compassionate and kind care.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a donation to Alzheimer's Research or Hosparus Health of Barren River in the memory of Brenda G. McKinney.
"It is not the quantity of life, but the quality of life."
May you rest in peace Mom.
