Betty Jo Meador, 93, of Bowling Green passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at Cape Coral Hospital in Cape Coral, Florida. The Somerset, KY native was the daughter of the late Elisha and Helen "Jackie" Stover. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Fred Meador and her son, Jim Meador.

Mrs. Meador was a graduate of Norwood High School, Class of 1949, and was a homemaker. She was a devoted member of Woodburn Baptist Church and the Kentucky Heritage Quilt Society.

She is survived by her son, Bill Meador; two daughters, Donna Littlejohn (Jim) and Phillis Farrell (John); six grandchildren, Shawn Markley, Todd Markley, Scott Markley, Bethany Markley, Mark Meador, and Dawn Wigginton; twelve great-grandchildren, Steven Markley, Skye Markley, Frankie Markley, Finn Markley, Zulia Markley, Ayden Marvin, Hailey Marvin, Charles Marvin, Valerie Meador, Samantha Meador, Benjamin Wigginton, and Ruby Wigginton.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at Woodburn Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Woodburn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the church on Wednesday.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of memorial contributions to Woodburn Baptist Church – Building Fund or Mission Fund.
