Bettie L. Dawsey, 92, of Bowling Green passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2024 at Alive Hospice in Nashville, TN. The Bowling Green native is the daughter of the late Bonnie Willoughby Wheet and Willard Wheet. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Dawsey and two brothers, Joe Wheet, Sr. and Floyd Wheet.

Mrs. Dawsey was a homemaker and a member of Fifth Street Baptist Church, later known as Fairview Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by two nephews, Joe Wheet, Jr. and Mike Wheet; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 11, 2024 at Fairview Cemetery. Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
