Obituary

Anna Maria D'Alessio, 80, of Bowling Green passed away August 23, 2022, at The Medical Center. The Naples, Italy native was the daughter of the late Carmela Paqnozzi Manfredonia and Giovanni Manfredonia. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by four brothers, Luciano Manfredonia, Alberto Manfredonia, Ernesto Manfredonia, and Mario Manfredonia.

She worked as a seamstress and enjoyed spending time with her family and animals.

She is survived by her husband, Giuseppee D'Alessio; three daughters, Elvira Rosalie D'Alessio, Immocolata "Tina" D'Alessio, and Elisabeth "Lisa" Garza; five sisters, Onorina Gargiulo, Immocolata Caputo, Lucrezia Manfredonia, Rosette Ivarone, and Elizabeth Griffin; three brothers, Antonio Manfredonia, Frank Manfredonia, and Ronaldo Manfredonia; six grandchildren, Savanna D'Alessio, Justina Gill, Benjamin Benitez, Gianna Benitez, Giuseppe "Pepe" Garza, and Anna Belle Coker; four great-grandchildren, Elia Sofia Driskill, Eva Lena Driskill, Mia Belle Gill, and Dean Harrison Benitez.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 27, 2022, at Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home with Fr. Ryan Harpole officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until service time on Saturday at the funeral home.

The family would like to give special thanks to Father Ryan for giving Mrs. D'Alessio her last rites before her passing.
