Beloved mother and grandmother, Ann Downing Hocker died in Nashville, TN. She was born October 17, 1941 to the late John and Ethel Downing and was the wife of the late Captain William E. Hocker.

Ann is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Hocker Jones and her husband, Robert, and Caroline Hocker Watts all of Bowling Green; eight grandchildren, Nicholas Slattery of Louisville, Jane Embry Watts and her husband, Christopher Palmer of Jeffersonville, IN, Hannah Slattery, Alexandra Watts and her fiancé, Nathan Shelton, Victoria Watts, MacMillan Slattery, Elizabeth Watts and Abigail Birk all of Bowling Green; son-in-law, Calvin Watts of Oakland, KY.

Visitation will take place Thursday at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home from 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm and again Friday at Lost River Church of Christ from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm followed by a memorial service at Lost River Church at 12:00 pm.

Honoring the wishes of Mrs. Hocker, her body was donated to Medical Science.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Sarah Cannon Cancer Center.
