Elijah “L.C.” (Pete) Lee, 81, of Bowling Green, died Friday April 6,2012 in Greenview Regional Hospital. The Warren County native was the son of the late Frank Lee and Annie May Glass Lee and foster son to the late Johnny and Nora Craft. He was preceded in death by his parents, foster parents, a sister, Pearl Lee brother Wade Lee, and a foster sister, Ivy Salmon. Mr. Lee was a graduate of Warren County schools and retired from Browning Oil. Mr. Lee also served his country during the Korean War with the U.S. Army Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday April 9, 2012 at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home with burial in Green River Union Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home Mr. Lee is survived by nephews; Maurice Craft, Dewayne Causey, Russell Lee; nieces, Vanessa Lee, Imogene Kitchens, special friends, Fleeta Craft, Shelly Smith and several great nieces and nephews.
